Description
4 in 1 Rapid Test Kit
The 4 in 1 Rapid test kit allows you to test for HIV / Syphilis / Hepatitis B / Hepatitis C in one test card. This is a streamlined type of test, allowing you to test for multiple STIs at one time.
HIV
ABOUT
The advanced quality Rapid ANTI-HIV (1&2) Test is a colloidal gold-enhanced, rapid immunochromatographic assay for the qualitative detection of antibodies to human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) in human whole blood, serum or plasma from all groups (including neonates, pregnant women, etc). This test is a screening test, and all positives must be confirmed using an alternative test, such as a Western Blot.

SYMPTOMS
- Dark urine
- Fever
- Fatigue

- Joint pain
- Loss of appetite, nausea, stomach pain, vomiting
The test kit includes everything you need to complete the test:
- One cassette holder containing HIV/ SYP (Left) and HBV/ HCV (Right) cassettes
- Plastic droppers
- Buffer HS (specific for HIV/ SYP Ab test)
- Buffer BC (specific for HBV/ HCV Ab test)
- Instructions
- Lancet
- Alcohol Swab
HOW TO USE
- When ready to test, open the pouch at the notch and remove the device. Place the test device on a clean, flat surface.
For detection of HIV/Syphilis Ab
- Fill the plastic dropper with the specimen.
- Holding the dropper vertically, dispense 1 drop of whole blood (about 40-50 μL) into the centre of the sample well of HIV/SYP cassette, making sure that there are no air bubbles.
- Immediately add 1 drop (about 35-50μL) of sample diluent HS (pink cap) to the sample well with the bottle positioned vertically.
For detection of HBsAg/HCV Ab
- Fill the plastic dropper with the specimen.
- Holding the dropper vertically, dispense 1 drop of whole blood (about 40-50 μL) into the centre of the sample well of HBV/HCV cassette, making sure that there are no air bubbles. Immediately add 1 drop (about 35-
- 50 μL) of sample diluent BC (white cap) to the sample well with the bottle positioned vertically.
- Set up a timer.
- Read results at 15 minutes. Positive results may be visible in as little as 1 minute.
*Negative results must be confirmed at the end of the 20 minutes only. However, any results interpreted outside the 15-20 minute window should be considered invalid and must be repeated. Discard the used device.
READ RESULTS
NEGATIVE: If only the C line develops, the test indicates that antibodies or antigens from the target infection are not detected in the specimen. The result is negative or non-reactive.
POSITIVE:
HIV positive: In addition to the presence of the C line, if the HIV line develops, it indicates the presence of anti-HIV-1 or HIV-2 antibodies in the specimen. The result is HIV Ab positive or reactive.
SYP positive: In addition to the presence of the C line, if the SYP line develops, the test indicates the presence of anti-Tp antibodies in the specimen. The result is syphilis Ab positive or reactive.
HBV positive: In addition to the presence of the C line, if the HBV line develops, the test indicates the presence of HBsAg in the specimen. The result is HBsAg positive or reactive.
HCV positive: In addition to the presence of the C line, if the HCV line develops, the test indicates the presence of anti-HCV antibodies in the specimen. The result is HCV Ab positive or reactive.
INVALID: If no C line develops in any of the two test strips, the assay is invalid for that particular test strip regardless of any color development on the test lines.
